When Melanin Fleece Tights launched, our mission was simple:
To create fleece-lined tights that women with deeper skin tones could finally see themselves in.
At the time, fleece-lined tights were rapidly growing in popularity across social media and online fashion communities. Yet despite their popularity, one major problem remained.
Most brands offered only a limited range of shades, leaving countless women searching for options that actually complemented their skin tone.
We knew women deserved better.
And thanks to the support of our growing community, what started as a solution for one overlooked group of women quickly became something much bigger.
A Major Milestone for Melanin Fleece Tights
In 2024, Melanin Fleece Tights officially expanded into Australia and New Zealand.
For us, this wasn't simply about entering new markets.
It was about reaching women who had been experiencing the exact same frustrations we set out to solve from the beginning.
Women throughout Australia and New Zealand were discovering fleece-lined tights online but struggling to find shades that reflected their skin tone or sizes that truly fit their bodies.
We saw an opportunity to change that.
