Shipping and Returns

We ship during designated days. Please allow up to 5 business days to process your order. 

Once shipped, a notification email will be sent out with a tracking number and orders will be delivered within 5-12 business days. Please be sure to check your spam folder as the shipping notification email may have been sent there. Packages may experience delays beyond our control, such as delays due to customs or postal delays.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the address and other shipping information is entered correctly. Melanin Fleece Tights will not be held responsible for packages that are sent to the wrong address that the buyer has entered or orders that are returned due to an insufficient address being provided during checkout including lack of an apartment or unit number. Orders that have been returned to sender by the courier (due to insufficient/ incomplete address, vacant, unclaimed, notice left/no secure location available, order not picked up and/or failed delivery attempt) are subject to a reshipment and processing fee if the customer wants their order reshipped. We will notify customers once we receive the package. 

If the tracking information for your package states that it is delivered and you have not received it - please contact the courier stated in your shipment confirmation. Melanin Fleece Tights does not issue refunds or replacements for packages that are marked as delivered. Melanin Fleece Tights is not responsible for packages that have been lost or stolen in transit. For added protection on your packages, we offer optional Route shipping insurance during checkout, offering resolution for any issues encountered during transit, such as loss, damage, or theft. If you need your package to be delivered in a mailroom or office as opposed to an apartment/unit number, please include detailed delivery instructions under the  "Add Order Note" section during checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and do not include unanticipated courier delays. Please add 1 - 3 business days to our shipping estimates for rural addresses.

Which countries do you ship to?
We happily offer free shipping for orders over $99 USD to most countries. During checkout you will be notified if the country you've selected does not include free shipping.

Return Policy
We are committed to delivering products of the highest quality, but we understand that there may be instances where customers need to initiate returns. Please note that our return policy is primarily for damaged items, and we appreciate your understanding that we are unable to process returns or exchanges based on color and size preferences. For unused items damaged upon arrival, we accept returns within 7 days. Kindly reach out to us via email at with the subject line "Returns". We'll respond within 48 hours. Thank you for your cooperation in making your shopping experience with us satisfactory.
If approved for a return, the customer will be responsible for the return label and will need to provide a tracking number. We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear. Please return the approved item within 15 days. We do not accept returns on socks. 

For International Returns, the customer agrees to pay for any charges that arise when returning products. This includes custom charges and shipping fees.

Kindly refrain from ordering multiple sizes and shades with the intention of returning the ones that do not fit or match. If you require assistance in selecting the right size or shade, feel free to reach out to us at, and we'll be happy to help!
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale and clearance items or gift cards. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours of receipt if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Order cancellation
Orders can only be canceled within the first 1 hour they've been placed. After an hour, our team will have already registered your order in our system and in our carrier's system.

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your refund will incur a 10% processing fee and you will automatically be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
