Back on Good Day DC: Celebrating Black History Month with All 4 Shades

We're back on Good Day DC - and this time, it was extra special.

This segment aired during Black History Month, and honestly, there was no better time for it. Getting invited back to share more about Melanin Fleece Tights during a month built around celebrating Black history, culture, and excellence felt like exactly where we were supposed to be.

Showing Up in Every Shade

This time around, we got to bring something we hadn't shown on TV before: all four of our shades, in tall and plus size, side by side. Mocha, Toffee, Amber, and Creme — the full range, styled and ready to be seen.

There's something powerful about laying out four different shades on camera and saying, "this is who we make these for." Not one model, not one shade, not one body type held up as the standard. Four real options, in sizes that fit real bodies, all under one brand built specifically with us in mind.

Why This Segment Hit Different

Our first time on Good Day DC was about introducing people to who we are. This time felt like a full-circle moment — coming back to show growth. More shades. More proof that fleece-lined tights made for Black and brown women don't have to be an afterthought or a single "one size, one shade" option.

Getting to do that during Black History Month made it even more meaningful. This brand exists because representation matters - in fashion, in sizing, in who gets to feel seen when they get dressed in the winter. Being able to show that range on live television, during a month dedicated to celebrating our community, was a moment we're going to hold onto.

What This Means For Us

Every time we get invited back, it's a reminder that people are paying attention - not just to the product, but to the mission behind it. Four shades. Tall and plus sizes. A brand built by us, for us. That's the story we got to tell on Good Day DC this time, and we're so grateful for the chance to tell it.

Here's to more shades, more sizes, and more moments like this one.
