Melanin Fleece Tights was created to solve the huge gaps that existed in the viral fleece lined tights market where beige and one-size fits all were the only options. We believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard and celebrated and that is why inclusivity is at the heart of Melanin Fleece Tights.
We are thrilled to be able to fill these voids worldwide with our original and famous colors (Chocolate, Caramel and Honey) and a wider size selection (Tall & Plus sizes) that we were first to create and bring to market. Stay warm and cozy while looking stylish this cold season!

In September 2023, Melanin Fleece Tights officially launched with three shades:
Chocolate. Caramel. Honey.
Looking back now, it's hard to believe how much has changed.
At the time, the idea seemed simple.
Create fleece-lined tights that women with brown skin tones could finally wear without compromising warmth, style, or representation.
What we didn't realize was that this simple idea would grow into something much bigger.
The Gap That Everyone Accepted
Before Melanin Fleece Tights, finding fleece-lined tights in deeper skin tones was nearly impossible.
The viral fleece tights everyone was talking about came in a limited range of shades that left many women feeling excluded from the trend.
If you had deeper skin, your options were often:

For years, this gap existed without anyone questioning it.
We decided to question it.
Creating Something That Didn't Exist
When we launched Chocolate, Caramel, and Honey, those shades weren't available anywhere else in fleece-lined tights.
Not on major marketplaces.
Not from large fashion retailers.
Not from the brands dominating social media.
We weren't following a trend.
We were solving a problem.
Every shade represented months of development, testing, adjustments, and feedback from real women who simply wanted products that reflected them.
Our goal was never to be different for the sake of being different.
