Behind the Shoot: 10 Models, Every Shade, One Message

Some photoshoots are about getting good product photos. This one was about something bigger.

For our latest shoot featuring LayerTone and SheerTone, we brought together 10 models - different body types, different skin tone shades, different ethnicities - all wearing the same tights. And watching it come together reminded us exactly why we started this brand in the first place.

Why We Didn't Cast "A Model." We Cast Ten.

When you search "fleece tights" or "sheer tights" online, you'll usually see the same body, the same shade, over and over. One model, one look, and everyone else is left guessing whether the product will actually work for them.

We didn't want anyone guessing.

So instead of casting one model and calling it a day, we built a lineup that actually reflects who wears MFT - because inclusivity was never a marketing checkbox for us. It's the entire reason LayerTone and SheerTone exist: real skin-tone shades, engineered from real undertones, fitted across a size range that doesn't stop at "medium."

What This Shoot Was Really About

Every model on set wore either LayerTone or SheerTone, and the goal was simple: show the same product looking flawless on every single body and shade that put it on. No single "ideal" - just proof.

  • Different skin tones - because a shade that only matches one complexion isn't inclusive; it's just another miss.
  • Different body types - because DiamondFit™ was engineered to move with real bodies, not just sample sizes.
  • Different ethnicities - because our community isn't one look, and our campaigns shouldn't be either.

Seeing all ten looks side by side on set was honestly one of our favorite moments this year. Same tights. Same fit. Same flawless finish. Ten completely different, completely beautiful results.

Representation Isn't a Trend for Us

We've said it before, and we'll keep saying it: MFT exists because too many women have spent too many winters settling for shades that didn't match and tights that didn't fit right. This shoot was our way of putting that mission on camera - not as a one-off "diversity" post, but as a true reflection of who we build for every single day.

This is what it looks like when a brand designs with everyone in mind from the start, instead of adding inclusivity as an afterthought.
